About the Role
TOKYO8 Indonesia (tokyo8.id) is looking for a structured, assertive, and practical young professional to join us. You will not be the one executing technical tasks on the ground; instead, you will coordinate field agronomists, sales teams, finance, and logistics to ensure everything runs flawlessly. As a Trainee, you are not expected to make absolute decisions alone on day one. You will work closely with a mentor—learning how to analyze bottlenecks, propose cost-effective solutions, and gradually take charge of complex operational decisions.
Key Qualifications
- Agribusiness Background & Intuition: Hold a degree in Agricultural Management or Agribusiness. Highly preferred: hands-on internship/project experience within the real-world agribusiness sector. Familiar with the ecosystem, common trades, field operations dynamics, and stakeholder behaviors.
- "Paranoid" about Details: Possess high-level administrative discipline. Leave zero room for assumptions, ensure proper execution, actively monitor SOP compliance, and systematically document progress.
- Assertive Communicator & Orchestrator: Excellent, adaptable, and firm communication in Indonesian (adequate English). Bridge horizontal (field, logistics, finance) and vertical coordination. Resilient in following up on progress and commitments.
- Smart, Critical, Logical & Practical: Cost-aware problem solver capable of analyzing daily reports or bottlenecks and formulating highly efficient solution options with your mentor.
What You Will Do
- Act as the central coordinator for multiple parallel projects across various regions (including corporate trials, equipment leasing, and product distribution).
- Ensure field agronomists and technical teams submit their daily/weekly reports on time and adhere to strict quality control standards.
- Bridge communication between field operations, logistics, and finance departments to align product deliveries, equipment retrievals, and payment collections with cash flow.
- Monitor daily e-commerce operations and serve as a reliable escalation point for customer support inquiries.
- Regularly consult with your mentor to evaluate project statuses, learn practical decision-making, and ensure zero "dropped balls".
